The Captain Reed Room
The Captain Reed Room is painted in a soft cream yellow with white wood trim. The five windows let in the natural light that gleams on the original refinished wide pine bedroom floor. The Ethan Allen queen four-poster beehive bed is covered in white linen. The bedroom walls have ship prints and the room is furnished with two stuffed wingback chairs and an oak drop leaf writing desk.
The private bath is done with white wainscoting, pedestal sink, and shower.
Access to the Captain Reed Room has the original back stairs that have high risers and short treads. This room is not recommended for carrying up large suitcases or people with unsteady legs.
Rates: $110 to $135 plus lodging tax
